A familiar moment, considered carefully.

The intended experience begins with your choice to scan. Face recognition runs on your Mac, while a separate account service checks membership. A successful recognition would not replace macOS authentication: the app is designed to enter a locally saved password at the existing lock screen during an authorized session.

Built independently, with attribution.

Lunlo builds on the MIT-licensed Glance application and uses the AuraFace recognition model under Apache-2.0. Its branding, account integration, and unlock controls are developed as Lunlo. It is not affiliated with Apple, and its camera recognition is not Apple Face ID.

A preview with an honest release status.

Sign-in, checkout, and public downloads are currently closed. The 0.2.0 development build is not Apple-notarized, and successful real-world face unlock has not been verified. Publishing this website does not mean those release steps are complete.
